About Karen
Corporate Branding
My career began with trade groups and professional societies. After several marketing communications roles, I found my niche in corporate branding for Fortune 500 companies Rockwell, GE and Abbott.
Networking and Community Service
Throughout my career, I worked to help people make quality job and business connections. This led to the founding of two professional networking groups – Women’s Exchange of Milwaukee and MAC Women (Milwaukee Athletic Club).
As a Dress for Success volunteer, I provided career coaching to help clients achieve economic independence.
Other volunteer involvement has included serving as a director on the boards of several local, state and national organizations.
Colleagues told me I kept them on track and made their search less overwhelming. They consistently acknowledged my energy, enthusiasm, and compassion. That experience served as the launch pad for my business.
I now make use of my branding experience to better position my clients to reach their next career goal. I'm also able to guide their search through what I've learned from having bounced back from several company downsizings.

Job Coaching
My last role at Abbott was commercial operations manager for their Animal Health group. When the division was sold, my role evolved into helping fellow employees with their job searches through coaching, workshops and support groups.
